Richard Neiman Joins PwC Former New York Superintendent of Banks Richard H. Neiman has joined PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) as vice chairman of the firm's global financial services regulatory practice.

In his new role, Neiman will advise and work with financial institutions, financial market utilities and regulators on issues arising from the changing regulatory environment, including the Dodd-Frank Act. He will also lead the firm's foreign bank regulatory practice and will focus on advising foreign banks on governance, compliance and business issues with respect to their operations in the U.S.

Neiman was previously a member of the Congressional Oversight Panel, which oversaw the implementation of the Troubled Asset Relief Program. As the 43rd Superintendent of Banks for the State of New York, he was responsible for the supervision of all state-chartered depository institutions, including the majority of the U.S. branches and agencies of foreign banks, from March 2007 to May of this year.
