RightStart Mortgage, a Pasadena, Calif.-based lender, has hired John Stangarone as retail business development manager.
Stangarone will be responsible for overseeing the management and growth of RightStart Mortgage's retail branch operations.
Stangarone has more than 20 years of experience growing and leading mortgage sales teams. He has held executive or management positions at Ocwen Financial, Saxon Mortgage, Monument Mortgage and Countrywide Financial, among other lenders.
Most recently, he served as a regional manager for Gold Star Mortgage Financial, where he specialized in branch recruiting and development, and as national sales manager for All Home Lending, where he was responsible for the company's hiring and growth and specialized in branch affiliate recruiting and training.
