Robert Barone, an executive in construction risk management, has been promoted to president of White Plains, N.Y.-based IVI International Inc., a global provider of integrated construction risk management (CRM) services.
In his role as president, Barone will be focused on the growth of the firm and the expansion of its consulting services to mitigate the inherent risks associated with real estate development and construction, says the company.
He has over 30 years' experience in assessing and managing real estate development and construction delivery risk on behalf of institutional mortgagees, equity investors and owners. He joined IVI in 1984 and has served as senior vice president of the firm's CRM division for the last 15 years. He is also a New York State registered architect.
