Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking is expanding its U.S. research platform by hiring Ken Elgarten as head of U.S. credit research and Michael Suen as U.S. equity quantitative strategist.
Elgarten joins the company from Credit Suisse, where he had been head of U.S. credit strategy and research since 2007. He previously held senior positions with UBS and Lehman Brothers.Â
Suen joins Societe Generale from Avatar Associates, where he was a senior vice president for quantitative research. He held similar positions at ING and Invesco.
