Wade Hamby, who has more than 25 years of executive experience in mortgage lending, outsourcing and quality control, has been promoted to national director of sales and marketing at The StoneHill Group, a national provider of quality control, due diligence and mortgage fulfillment solutions for lenders, banks and credit unions.
Hamby previously served the company as business development manager for the eastern U.S.
Prior to joining the StoneHill Group, Hamby served as vice president of business development for the Southeast region for AmeriCU Mortgage; vice president, division manager with Triad Guaranty; and vice president at Hovde Financial in Washington, D.C., where he provided M&A services to depositories in the mid-Atlantic and southeast regions. He is also the former president of AboutYourMortgage.com LLC, a Web-based mortgage services provider.
In his new position, Hamby will be responsible for spearheading the growth of the company in a year when compliance and quality assurance have become pivotal in the mortgage industry.
