Ten-X, formerly Auction.com, is looking to further expand from distressed property auctions into conventional, non-distressed residential and commercial real estate transactions.
As such, the firm has launched two new transaction platforms developed specifically to make online residential and commercial real estate sales simple and fast for buyers and sellers.
Ten-X Homes is created for buying and selling move-in ready homes, while Ten-X Commercial is for commercial property transactions, the firm says in a release. Both platforms deliver enhanced flexibility, control and simplicity and are optimized for use on desktops, tablets and smartphones.
“We’re on a mission to make the experience of buying and selling properties exponentially better for everyone involved,” says Tim Morse, CEO of Ten-X, in the release. “Our new platforms combine the familiarity of traditional real estate transactions with the transparency, efficiency and ease that the Internet has brought to other market sectors, like travel and financial services, and sets a new standard for our industry.”
In addition to Ten-X Homes and Ten-X Commercial, the company plans to maintain its Auction.com online marketplace focused on the sale of residential bank-owned and foreclosure properties.
“Real estate is truly moving online,” says Rick Sharga, chief marketing officer for Ten-X. “Whether you’re a consumer looking to buy or sell a home, or a commercial real estate investor hoping to build out your portfolio of properties, we have what you need to be successful: a proven platform, a simplified process, and the information and tools you need to confidently buy and sell real estate online – whenever, wherever and however you want to.”
