Trimble Joins Churchill Mortgage To Lead Compliance Development

Brentwood, Tenn.-based Churchill Mortgage has hired Seth Trimble for the company's newly created position of full-time compliance trainer.

According to Churchill, the mortgage industry has expressed concerns that the government's mortgage qualification restrictions will eliminate many potential buyers, especially first-time home buyers. The company says it created this position in response.

In his role, Trimble will lead the implementation of a compliance-related, cross-functional communications platform focused on training and regulation. He will provide compliance training to all staff and develop comprehensive presentations for the lender. He will also conduct on-site branch visits to ensure compliance-related measures are enforced and maintained across the entire organization.

Trimble is a licensed originator in five states. Prior to joining Churchill Mortgage, he served as a loan processor with Nationstar Mortgage.

Mike Hardwick, founder of Churchill Mortgage, recently announced that it was offering employees a 49% stake in the company through an employee stock ownership plan – a highly unusual move for a mortgage lender.
