Karen Herr has joined national appraisal management company Valuation Partners as vice president of its U.S. West region.
Herr has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and has held executive roles at several large mortgage companies.
Most recently, she served as a regional sales manager with PennyMac Loan Services, where she grew and managed client relationships for the company’s correspondent channel in five western states.
She also previously served as senior vice president at Mortgage Capital Management, correspondent sales director at Stonegate Mortgage Corp., and a vice president at JP Morgan Chase’s wholesale and correspondent divisions.
Herr began her career as a vice president and underwriting manager at Merrill Lynch Mortgage Capital.
In her new role with Valuation Partners, Herr will be responsible for overseeing business development and new client services in California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Hawaii and Alaska.
