Walter Investment Management Corp. has completed the consolidation of its originations and servicing businesses – an effort that included the merger of Ditech Mortgage Corp. into Green Tree Servicing LLC.
As recently announced, the combined companies now comprise Ditech Financial LLC, which will now operate under the name ‘Ditech, a Walter Company’ or, more simply, ‘Ditech.’
‘We believe the completion of our customer-focused originations and servicing integration under the Ditech brand will simplify many processes, improving the quality of our customers' experience as they do business with us, as well as drive operational efficiencies,’ says Mark J. O'Brien, chairman and CEO of Walter Investment.
Ditech will be led by Patti Cook, as president of originations, and by David Schneider, as president of servicing.
