The board of trustees of Washington Real Estate Investment Trust (WRIT), an equity real estate investment trust, has elected Charles T. Nason chairman. Nason will succeed John P. McDaniel, who has completed a three-year term of service as chairman.
Nason joined WRIT in 2000 and has served as the chair of its audit committee for the past five years. He is the retired chairman and CEO of The Acacia Group, where he worked from 1977 to 2006, including as CEO from 1998 to 2003.
