Wrightwood Capital, a Chicago-based real estate finance and investment firm, has completed a $55 million capital raise.

Cohen, CEO at Wrightwood Capital. ‘Our ability to raise capital in this environment is a testament to the confidence our investors have in the institutional platform Wrightwood Capital has built and its ability to respond entrepreneurially to the opportunities arising from the market's distress.’
Separately, the Wrightwood Capital board of managers has appointed Cohen chairman of the board, in addition to his role as CEO.
