Xactware, specializing in technologies for the property insurance, remodeling, restoration and mortgage and lending industries, has released the latest version of XactPRM, a cloud-based application that makes estimating property maintenance and repair costs faster, easier and more precise.
Geared for asset owners, mortgage servicers, independent contractors and service providers, the solution's repair cost estimator now allows users to create a bid using illustrations of a home. For example, a user could click on the lawn in the illustration to add maintenance costs. Similarly, a user could click on the swimming pool in the image to add pool cleaning to the bid.
The updated version also offers cost research that gives estimators access to the latest pricing information while, at the same time, allowing them to develop and maintain their own prices. As a user initiates bids and enters prices, XactPRM creates a tailored price list that the estimator can use on future bids, the company says in a press release. In addition, the application ‘learns’ which items an estimator uses most often and makes them easier to find.
The solution helps eliminate redundant entry of paper bids, thus helping asset owners and field service companies assign, monitor and approve bids efficiently.
