Allstate Appraisal, a valuation and review services company, and Bradford Technologies, a provider of computer-aided appraising technology, have introduced Valuation Express, a desktop appraisal product incorporating a third-party inspection of the property.
The companies explain that the Valuation Express reports differ from those provided by automated valuation models or broker price opinions because they are prepared by appraisers using traditional and statistical analysis to support the subject property's value.
The reports are available exclusively through Allstate Appraisal. Appraisers on Allstate Appraisal's panel can produce the Valuation Express report using Bradford Technologies' CompCruncher software.
According to the companies, Valuation Express reports offer significant savings over traditional full appraisal reports – which makes it an alternative for use in non-first trust deed transactions that do not warrant the cost of a full or drive-by appraisal.
