Capsilon, a provider of cloud-based document sharing, imaging and management solutions for mortgage lenders, has enhanced its DocVelocity desktop application by adding an advanced printer driver that enables users to print documents from their desktop applications with reduced file sizes. This, in turn, makes it faster to upload, download and store documents.
In addition, the company has added intelligent page streaming, which allows users to download images only when they need to be viewed, thus improving system performance.
What's more, when users download documents from the cloud to their desktops, images are cached locally so that they can be viewed more quickly.
In a press release, Sanjeev Malaney, chief executive officer at Capsilon, said the new updates ‘enable lenders to use DocVelocity faster and more effectively than ever before.’
