Generation Mortgage Company (GMC), a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) company, has added a new Texas sales team to its growing retail sales division.
Led by Forrest Lowry, branch manager, the team includes seven loan officers, who bring a combined 60 years of HECM experience to GMC, according to the company.
Lowry reports to Alicia Hahn, western regional retail sales manager, and oversees all of the company's loan offices in the state. Prior to joining GMC, he served as branch manager for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage's reverse mortgage division and later managed the company's south Texas area. Since 2011, he has held the positions of reverse mortgage loan officer at Network Funding and builder mortgage loan officer at Bank of America.
In addition to Lowry, GMC's Texas sales organization consists of seven loan officers, who are each responsible for a specific area of the state: Gary Bauch, Nicholas Gamboa, Jena Gilliland, Lisa Parker-Hamilton, Rodney Rogers, Nancy Starr and Tim Thompson.
"Because Texas is the second-largest market for conversion mortgages in the country, it is a specific area of focus for Generation Mortgage's new retail sales division," says Cheryl MacNally, chief sales officer of GMC. "Consequently, we took special care to ensure our local retail operations included HECM industry veterans that have proven success in this important market. We continue to view Texas as an opportunity for ongoing growth and are excited at the response to our team's initial efforts."
