Lender Processing Services Inc. (LPS), based in Jacksonville, Fla., says North American Title Insurance Co. is making its underwriting products instantly available to its agents via SoftPro 360, a business exchange platform offered by LPS' SoftPro Division. North American Title Insurance Co. is the first title insurance underwriter to offer its agents the ability to order electronic policy jackets directly from SoftPro.Â
According to the company, the SoftPro real estate closing and title insurance software integrates with North American Title Insurance Co.'s products and services and links to a wide variety of additional products and services offered by other vendors in the SoftPro 360 network. When agents place orders with North American Title through SoftPro 360, digital copies of electronic policy jackets are returned to them electronically through the SoftPro 360 interface. No additional data needs to be re-entered as part of the transaction.
