Mark R. Johnson and Matt Slonaker recently joined Solutionstar, a subsidiary of residential mortgage services company Nationstar, as executive vice president, valuations, and as senior vice president of business development, respectively.
Johnson previously worked as president of LSI and also for LPS' Valuation Services. In his new role, he will further enhance Solutionstar's valuation operations, technology platform and service offerings.
Slonaker previously worked as senior vice president and division head for Carrington Mortgage Holdings. There, he led the effort to double third-party business for the real estate group. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading a team focused on providing technology-based real estate services to companies engaged in the origination and servicing of residential mortgage loans.
Solutionstar is organized into two operating segments: real estate services and real estate exchange. Real estate exchange services includes REO, trustee, asset management and other real property dispositions; whereas real estate services comprise online marketing technology and services, broker priced opinions, title, closing and settlement services, valuations, data and analytics.
Additionally, the company operates HomeSearch.com, a website that offers consumers access to property listings, neighborhood and community information and other relevant property-related information and monetizes its audience by conducting online auction events and through third party advertising relationships.
