Fast-growing full-service retail lender Mortgage Network Inc. has opened a new branch office in the Conshohocken, Philadelphia, area.
It is the sixth branch office the company has opened so far this year.
Mortgage industry veteran Ted Lawler, who has 12 years of mortgage banking experience in the Philadelphia area, will be managing the new office. A district sales manager and top producer for Mortgage Network, Lawler most recently served as the manager of the company's Berwyn, Pa. branch.
Joining Lawler will be sales manager Annette Dougherty, loan officers Chris Fretz, Matthew Kelly, Ward Kerlin, Tony Roggio and David Heins, and sales assistant Diana Mondo.
"With mortgage rates moving higher and relatively low housing inventory in the local market, it's more important than ever for borrowers to have a mortgage resource they know they can trust," Lawler said in a release. "Our new office makes Mortgage Network much more accessible to borrowers in Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, Philadelphia and Bucks counties, where our team will continue helping consumers become financially literate while exceeding their expectations with fantastic service."
Mortgage Network also announced that it has hired loan officer Casey Mountain to serve at its Portland, Ore., office. A graduate of Mortgage Network Inc.'s "Mortgage Bankers in Training Program," Mountain will help borrowers in the regional area with their home financing needs and assist them in taking advantage of a full range of mortgage products, including conventional, non-conventional, government and reverse residential mortgage loans.
In late June, Mortgage Network Inc. announced that it had opened a branch office in Charlotte, N.C.
