AllRegs, an Eagan, Minn.-based online publisher for the mortgage lending industry, has released the new 2006 HMDA Data in LendingPatterns. LendingPatterns is a Web-based HMDA data-mining and exploration tool that analyzes millions of records for thousands of lenders.
On a national, regional or local level, LendingPatterns delivers reports detailing market, lender or borrower characteristics to lenders' desktops in PDF format. The data, derived from the national Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), comprises nearly 37 million records filed by more than 8,800 lenders in the U.S.
LendingPatterns, the company says, reports on underwriting and pricing outcomes of prime and subprime lending by race, ethnicity, income and geography. These reports can be used to develop marketing and loan production strategies, as well as act as a tool to access the home lending needs of communities.
